Religious Bottles
Tom was inspired to create these inspirational bottles from a childhood memory - the bottle
of Holy Water always found on his Aunt's dresser. Using old medicine bottles, he
incorporates prayer cards accompanied by colorful, textural rocks - some polished, some
raw. Each one measures approximately 6" in height. $45.00 each.

Tom Lawless (Tommy)
Folk Artist Tom Lawless is not African American, his mental illness is slight and controlled, and he comes from a middle class
family...SO...Can he really be considered a folk artist?...He hopes so.
Tommy was born into a family of artists, and rebelled against their creative flow. Genetics took over later in his life and he began creating.
Why? I don't know. He takes his inspiration from growing up Catholic, and the wonderful world he experiences through, friends, family

Canes, it is my hope that someday I will get

Bottle caps are a wonderful thing...when I
was a kid two bottle caps could buy you one
mud pie....I am happy to keep these
treasures from going to the dump....

The Crucifix is a very strong image from my

take God's name in vain...but if you did, the
trio of Jesus, Mary and Joseph seemed to be
ok. This cross is made of twigs and the
perplexing phrase "Jesus, Mary and Joseph"
is painted all over it. The figure of Jesus is
